Bus Service
To make your adventure with us much easier, we offer our very own bus service that can take you to our water taxis in Kaiteriteri and back home again.
Our bus services are only available when you book an Abel Tasman Sea Shuttle water taxi transfer or one of our tours.
Connecting bus service from Kaiteriteri to Marahau operates from the 15th October to 30th April.
Bus transfers need to be arranged at least the day before travel by calling us on 0800 732 748.
Environment & Community
We get to work, live and play in an amazing place, so it is important to us to help ensure that it stays amazing. We contribute to essential Trusts, school groups, students and charities.
We also cover the EAF (Environmental Access Fee) for every booking. This fee directly improves the park for future generations.

Stunning scenery, all kinds of sea birds,... read more huge stingrays, fur seals and their babies frolicking in the sun and a highly informative and interesting commentary from our skipper along the way, made this 4 hour trip from Kaiteriteri to Totaranui and back incredibly enjoyable.

The itinerary was changed on the day due to a path closure but... read more we were well informed about this at check in. We felt we had enough time to do the walk ready for pickup at the end but we walked fairly quickly so it may be a push for some. Really good commentary on the boat and we got a tour all the way up the coast and back on our return journey which we were not expecting - spent almost two hours on the boat seeing the scenery which was fantastic. Really well organised and friendly staff.

Excellent day out - The seashuttle from Kaiteriteri offered an excellent service, including viewing the Split Apple rock and seals en route alongside commentary and information from the captain. We got off at... read more Anchorage Bay (1115) and managed to walk to Medlands Bay (at low tide) in 1hr 45mins to get the next boat back (1330).
The walk was simply stunning, the colour of the beaches and water are so impressive they almost look artificial. I wish we had more time to explore the Abel Tasman as it was one of the highlights of our trip.

15 January 2023High recommended tour operator - Abel Tasman Sea Shuttles were amazing to deal with from enquiry to booking to travel. I had a couple of questions before we booked and they were answered quickly.... read more We booked a three day pass and also used the bus service from Motueka. When we did the pass booking, Amy came back to ask if we needed help with looking at tides etc - we already had it sorted but thought it was great that they asked. Day one we collected all the boarding passes so didn't have to go back each day. Boat was very comfortable with toilets and a little shop selling drinks and nibbles which did a roaring trade (after doing the walk it was very appreciated). We were lucky enough to see seals, dolphins and stingrays over our three days and they were all pointed out by the captain. Bus transfer was excellent with Mark imparting some great local information with humour:-) 100% recommended.

28 April 2022Amazing day trip - This was a fabulous way to see a lot of Abel Tasman in a limited time. The whole experience was very well organised. A fun boat trip including getting very... read more close to seals and then we were dropped off at a beautiful beach and walked about 3 1/2 hours back through the bush to another gorgeous beach where we were picked up by boat and returned to base. The walk was very manageable , I am noy hugely fit and only had to stop for breath occasionally!
