Our Very Own

Bus Service

To make your adventure with us much easier, we offer our very own bus service that can take you to our water taxis in Kaiteriteri and back home again.

Our bus services are only available when you book an Abel Tasman Sea Shuttle water taxi transfer or one of our tours.

Connecting bus service from Kaiteriteri to Marahau operates from the 15th October to 30th April.

Bus transfers need to be arranged at least the day before travel by calling us on 0800 732 748.

Environment & Community

We get to work, live and play in an amazing place, so it is important to us to help ensure that it stays amazing. We contribute to essential Trusts, school groups, students and charities.

We also cover the EAF (Environmental Access Fee) for every booking. This fee directly improves the park for future generations.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Smooth, good guides. This service is as it says, mainly a shuttle into the park for hiking etc. Be there 15 minutes as they say they were running ahead of time with us which was great!

Die Fahrt mit dem Shuttle-Boot war traumhaft schön und führte uns entlang vieler atemberaubender Strände, an denen andere Gäste für ihre Touren abgesetzt wurden. Besonders toll war, dass es unterwegs immer wieder interessante und informative Durchsagen gab.Ein Highlight war der Stopp am Split-Apple Rock, wo wir die einzigartige Felsformation bewundern konnten. Außerdem hatten wir die Gelegenheit, Robben in ihrer natürlichen Umgebung zu beobachten – auch hier wurden wir mit spannenden Informationen versorgt.Am Ende des Tages wurden wir pünktlich und reibungslos an unserem Abholpunkt eingesammelt. Alles war perfekt organisiert, und der Tag war rundum gelungen.Wir können dieses Unternehmen uneingeschränkt empfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder eine Tour buchen!Passt bei eurer Wanderung auf, die Waka (braune Vögel) klauen gerne Dinge und Kleidung aus Rucksäcken 😁

We had a wonderful trip with them, I highly recommended to book with these guys. They go out of their way to make sure passengers are safe and happy, boat was spacious, on time and clean. The captain pointed out seals, dolphins (luck!) and explained the history(ies) of the sights. Just a marvellous experience. In any case, try to book one company in and out of the park, makes life easier!

Did 4 days of the Abel Tasman track, using this company to bus us from Nelson and transport our large packs between huts. Travis was really helpful arranging the trip in advance and looking after us when we arrived at Kaiteriteri. Hunter, let my friend who gets car sick sit up front, and stopped so we could get lovely coffee and pies on the way. The boat trip back was lovely and once again the nice lady, made sure our packs got on board and my friend sat in the best place to help her sea sickness. Great customer service and good value for money - plus they arranged for sting rays to swim by

They have all aspects of a cruise like this working at a high standard from start to finish. Would definitely recommend and will be booking again with them in the future.

This was definitely a 5 star day. Everything worked well - from pickup at my hotel in Nelson to end of day return. Easy online booking. If you decide to hike a section of the coast trail, be sure to read the small print. "Level of Fitness required" means just that. There are steep uphill sections on this trail. Also the Weka birds will steal your foodstuff if you don't pay attention.

Fantastic day with an excellent crew. We tried the 5 beaches walk. It was just over 11km with sone steep ascent and decents but thoroughly enjoyable. No issues at all with directions and you would struggle to get lost. Don't hang about though on the walk as its a fiat trot to get picked up later at Medlands Beach. We were lucky to have good weather and the captain provided some great details on the. c90 minute ride out. Drop off and pick up are easy. Thoroughly recommend to anyone

It was a nice day cruising the coast of Abel Tasman National Park with beautiful scenery and a bit of history of the area and a little wildlife viewing. It was relaxing and we took our own lunch. We did only the cruise and they gave us a small book with some information on the area. We felt like it could have been enhanced with more commentary or interaction though still enjoyed our time.

Did the day trip with them (Option C with the bays and the 8,8km hike). I'm a female solo traveler that did not rent a car, so that they picked me up and dropped me off in Nelson for a small fee was a big plus to book with them. Overall the trip was very nice. As it was low season I did the walk alone which was ok but definitely would be better/saver with some other people as the road goes sometimes up hill with steep decline on the sides. Also your fitness level must be good otherwise I do not recommend. Scenes were really beautiful and also saw some seals swimming near one of the beaches. We also had the honor to have Jackson as our driver and captain on the boat. They made several stops on the way so we could take pictures of the sceneries. Overall I had a great time and would recommend it.

Had a wonderful day aboard Abel Tasman Sea Shuttles. Got to see seals, penguins, and some amazing scenery.The boat was very comfortable, and the commentary was great along the way, ensuring we learnt a lot about this wonderful region.We did the Discovery Day Tour walk from Apple Tree Bay to Anchorage Beach. The scenery is incredible, with some lovely bays to visit along the way.We want to come back again and do the sea kayaks next time.Thanks for a spectacular day, and the weather was also beautiful.
