Our new vessel, Abel Tasman Crusader, under construction.

Here is a video of our new vessel being constructed. She will seat 150 and travel from Nelson to the Abel Tasman National Park and back to Nelson.

We're certain she will be the most comfortable boat operating in the park with plenty of room to move, a cafe, DVD, toilets and an upstairs viewing deck.
She will run on our regular schedule into the Park

Abel Tasman Crusader

After the effort of turning the Crusader end for end she is returned to the shed the right way up.

Here we see the team starting to add the deck planking to the hulls. At 23 metres long she is estimated to be the largest vessel built in Motueka.
